Check-Out Which Dating App is YOUR Best Match

How to Choose the Best Dating App for Women in their 30's Looking for a Relationship

Getting on the right dating app can be as important as your profile on the app. Here I'm going to talk about my experiences and recommendations for the dating apps that a heterosexual woman in her 30's looking for a relationship in Toronto should consider.

There are so many great options. If trying more than one is in your budget, I highly suggest you try a few different apps. You get a different audience and a different perspective on dating with each app, but ultimately you want to get a great profile working on an app that connects you with man you are looking for.

So here are my Toronto-biased top dating apps (in no particular order) for women in their 30's, looking for a relationship.

Bumble is a popular dating app that puts women in control. It requires you to initiate the conversation, which can seem intimidating at first, but when I used Bumble, I loved being able to decide who I wanted to talk to. This app is great if you are tired of receiving unwanted messages.

Hinge is an app that focuses on building real connections between users. It uses a detailed profile system that allows users to showcase their personality and interests, making it easier to find compatible matches. And they say they employ Love Scientists...who doesn't want a love scientist working on your next match?

OkC is a dating app that uses a comprehensive questionnaire to match users based on compatibility. It's great for women who want to find someone who shares their values and interests. This is my personal favourite because you can see the answers that people have provided to specific questions and it allows you to instantly screen for things that are important to you.

CMB is a dating app that asks what you want and delivers daily batches of people. Similar to eHarmony. My analogy, which I'm sure is not unique, is that this is a slow-drip way of using a dating app rather than an instant brew. For some this is perfect, others, not so much.

eHarmony is a dating app that uses a comprehensive questionnaire to match users based on compatibility. It's great for women who are serious about finding a long-term relationship and want to ensure that their potential matches share their values and goals.

Match is a popular dating app that has been around for over 25 years. It offers a comprehensive profile system and advanced search filters, making it easier to find compatible matches.

PoF offers a fun, game-like experience with really great search filters. It's the only app I've ever been able to use for free and not be completely frustrated...but I still recommend using the paid version.

Have you been in a bar or a club and realized that this just wasn't the right place for you? You look great, you are in a great mood, your friends are with you but you just know this is the wrong place for you? That's what being on the wrong dating app is like. You have to try it out to know for sure, so I highly suggest trying out a few different apps, but you'll only know which app is right after you try a couple.
